Free Online Video Player
This free online video player plays MP4, WebM, MOV, and other video files from your device right in the browser, with speed, volume, subtitle, picture-in-picture, and full-screen controls. The video never leaves your device, and there is nothing to install and no account.
Open a video
Drag and drop a video here, or
MP4, WebM, MOV, M4V, MKV, or Ogg. Any size, because nothing is uploaded.
Your video and subtitles stay in this browser tab. They are played straight from your device and are never uploaded, stored, or tracked.

When a browser video player helps
Review a cut before you post
Check an exported launch video, ad, or reel at full size and at 2x speed without opening an editor or installing a media player.
Check captions against the video
Load the WebVTT or SRT file next to the video to proofread timing and wording before you upload both to a social platform.
Play files on a locked-down computer
On a work laptop, Chromebook, or shared machine where you cannot install software, a browser tab is enough to play a local file.
Frequently asked questions
How do I play a video file online?
Drag the file onto the player or select Choose video. It starts playing in the page straight from your device, with controls for seeking, volume, speed, looping, captions, picture-in-picture, and full screen.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The browser reads the video and any subtitle file directly from your device, and nothing is sent to Launch Blitz or stored. Removing the video or closing the tab releases it.
Which video formats can it play?
It opens MP4, M4V, WebM, MOV, MKV, and Ogg files, as long as your browser supports the codec inside. H.264 MP4 and VP9 WebM play almost everywhere. HEVC, AV1, and some MKV files depend on the browser, and AVI, WMV, and FLV are not supported by browsers.
How do I add subtitles?
Once a video is open, select Add subtitles and choose a WebVTT (.vtt) file. SRT files are converted to WebVTT in the browser. You can turn captions on or off, replace the file, or remove it at any time.
Why will my video not play?
The file most likely uses a codec your browser cannot decode, which is common with HEVC recordings from phones and with older AVI or WMV files. Try a different browser, or convert the video to H.264 MP4 and open it again.
Is that video part of a launch?
Launch Blitz turns one website URL into a 90-day launch campaign with platform-ready posts, visuals, and a publishing calendar to go with the video you are about to publish.
